D-Nation Entertainment Addresses Park Bom’s Health and Recent Social Media Controversy

D-Nation Entertainment, the agency representing former 2NE1 member Park Bom, has issued an official statement updating the public on her current health condition and recent social media activities. The agency expressed regret for causing concern following Park Bom’s recent posts and thanked fans for their ongoing support during her challenging time.
According to D-Nation, Park Bom is presently experiencing significant emotional distress that has affected her ability to communicate, necessitating immediate treatment and rest for recovery. The agency clarified that a controversial social media post by the artist had been widely misinterpreted, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings that have impacted not only Park Bom herself but also her family and close associates.
In an effort to prevent further confusion and harm, D-Nation appealed to fans to refrain from sharing the disputed post and requested that media outlets avoid reporting on it. The company pledged to prioritize Park Bom’s health and facilitate her return to the public in improved condition.
The statement also addressed rumors concerning legal action against Park Bom’s former agency, YG Entertainment, prompted by her claim of unpaid settlements made earlier this week. D-Nation firmly denied these allegations, confirming that all financial matters related to her activities with 2NE1 have been settled, and no lawsuit has been filed as suggested.
Park Bom has paused her music career with 2NE1 since August. Additionally, earlier this year, actor Lee Min Ho publicly refuted involvement with Park Bom following her Instagram posts referring to him as "my husband."
2NE1, the group consisting of Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park, and Minzy, recently held a two-night concert in Manila in 2024, marking a significant event for fans despite the individual challenges faced by its members.
