Actor Joross Gamboa recently gave fans a glimpse of his amusing behind-the-scenes experience with renowned television host Conan O'Brien during the filming of "Sanggang Dikit FR." In an Instagram Reel, Gamboa narrated how he was unable to leave his tent to begin taping his scenes because Conan was shooting nearby for his own show, "Conan O’Brien Must Go," where he was interviewing the director and producer of "Sanggang Dikit."
Gamboa humorously revealed, "Gusto ko na mag-taping eh hindi ako makaalis. Hinahanap na ‘ko sa kabilang unit," illustrating his eagerness to start filming despite being stuck. He further joked about using a "forbidden technique" to sneak past by pretending to be blind, to which Conan responded with, "Now that’s acting!"
Eventually, Joross met Conan, and the two exchanged greetings. "Mabait si Conan O’Brien, kaya lang nag space out ako kasi Englishan na," Gamboa admitted, referring to the language barrier during their interaction. Conan expressed his gratitude for being welcomed on set, saying, "I hope I don’t mess up your show. You have such a good thing going here."
Conan O’Brien’s visit to the Philippines included meeting local fans and sending a video greeting to comedian Michael V. He is also scheduled to appear on "Sanggang Dikit FR." Known worldwide for hosting late-night shows like "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," Conan previously hosted the 2025 Oscars and is slated to return for the 2026 Oscars as well.
