BRAVE CF 102 to Feature Pivotal Heavyweight Title Contender Bout in Slovenia

Basilia Magsaysay

BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) is set to make its sixth visit to Slovenia with the upcoming BRAVE CF 102 event, scheduled for Sunday, November 23, at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana. The promotion continues its strong collaboration with the World Freefight Challenge (WFC), building on the momentum from recent landmark shows BRAVE 100 and BRAVE CF 101: KHK LEGACY II earlier this November.

The event’s centerpiece is a pivotal heavyweight showdown between Slovenia’s own Miha Frlic and Poland’s Patryk “The Polish Viking” Dubiela. The high-stakes matchup is expected to decide the next contender to challenge reigning BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Champion Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko.

Speaking on the significance of the bout, Dailidko said, "This is the kind of fight that shapes the future of a championship. I’ll be watching closely because whoever emerges will likely be the man standing across from me next."

Frlic boasts an unbeaten professional record of 5-0-1 and has established himself as a rising powerhouse within the European heavyweight division. Known for his dynamic striking and relentless pace, Frlic captured attention with his impressive stoppage of Shah Kamali at BRAVE CF 96 in June, a performance already garnering attention as a potential contender for Fight of the Year in 2025. A victory on home soil would mark a historic moment, potentially making Frlic the first Slovenian mixed martial artist to challenge for a BRAVE CF world title.

Dailidko acknowledged Frlic’s threat: "Frlic is Europe’s best-kept secret in this division. He’s powerful, dangerous, and definitely not someone you can overlook."

Dubiela, meanwhile, brings valuable championship experience to the cage. With six career wins evenly divided between knockouts and submissions, the Polish fighter rose to prominence after a swift 48-second knockout of Kasim Aras at BRAVE CF 81 in April 2024. That victory earned him a title shot against Dailidko later that year, and now he seeks redemption and a second chance to claim the heavyweight crown.

Dailidko reflected on Dubiela’s caliber: "I know Dubiela very well. He’s a man on a mission, and when he’s locked in, he’s one of the most dangerous big men out there."

With both contenders bringing impressive skill sets and determination, BRAVE CF 102 promises a compelling contest that will shape the future landscape of the BRAVE heavyweight division.

"This matchup is a must-see," Dailidko concluded. "It decides the direction of our division, and everything is on the line for these two warriors. May the best man win."

BRAVE CF continues to solidify its reputation as a premier global Mixed Martial Arts organization, having hosted over 100 events in 38 countries since its inception in 2016. Its partnership with WFC, a key player in European MMA since 2005, further emphasizes the promotion’s commitment to developing talent and expanding its international footprint.

For fans eager to follow the action, BRAVE CF offers multiple platforms, including its official website, mobile apps, and active social media channels worldwide.
